lash Industry first program
deaf/hoh touch program
86% of lash artists within the lash industry have never serviced a deaf or hard of hearing client. The deaf and hard of hearing communities are struggling to come find lash artists to service them for many beauty treatments, due to the loss of sight, as well as hearing.

FBALA's INDUSTRY FIRST program is here!
Be apart of one of the biggest changes in the lash industry to date and learn how to safety service deaf and hard of hearing clients. Become a FBALA HoH graduate and market yourself as HoH friendly.
This FREE program was created for lash techs world wide.
"The importance of the proper communication between the tech and the client doesn't just come down to safety, while yes, this is our most important reason, but it also comes down to being human. Having the freedom to feel safe, having the freedom to communicate properly without having to play a game of charades. Your lash appointment is a simple, yet a delicate service everybody should be able to experience, being deaf or hard of hearing does not mean you don't look at yourself in the mirror and see yourself any differently than anybody else."
IMPORTANT: Please understand that while this program is FREE and all the information provided is free to use and apply to your own business, understand that FBALA has an ongoing commitment to the HoH program, meaning that with every graduate of the HoH program, FBALA needs to work on the admin side. Enrolment, graduation and certificates all need to be processed and created by FBALA staff.

As this is the case, we have decided that our course will remain free to any tech, new or experienced and we will be charging a small fee for the cost of your certificate (if required). While you do not need the certificate to complete this program, some techs may want to promote their newly taught education to their clientele and become part of the FBALA family. The fee charged will be a $69.00 (AUD) + GST admin fee. Once paid, you will receive your certificate via email (once you have completed a small questionnaire), as well as your business being added to our website as a "FBALA Deaf/HoH Program Graduate" for the deaf and HoH community to find you.
Please note that the fee will be used to fund this and our other industry first programs, including our Free Re-Education program for techs worldwide, who have attended courses for lash extensions from lash "educators" and left without the correct education to continue their career. At the end of the year if there is any flow-over profit, we will donate this to a deaf community service program of our choice here in Australia.
Please remember that this fee is tax deductible.
